Savannah's Arts and Antiques

Do you love original artwork? Is you passion Antiques?

From the beginning to the end of this tour, you will be enveloped by artwork and antiques of different ages.  We will wander through museums, shops, studios and galleries galore, possibly meeting artists and hearing presentations from experts. You never know what will happen or what you will find when you visit Savannah with us.

The tour starts in Monterey Square, and we head north along Bull Street towards the river stopping at galleries, antique shops, and print shops along the way. Eventually we will head to Telfair Square where we will brake for lunch.

During the lunch break, there will be enough time for you to independently find food and explore the Jepson Center for the Arts before we regroup.

The tour will resume in the lobby of the Jepson Center for the Arts to admire the unique Architectural space created by world renowned architect Moshe Safdie. Moving on from there we will head to the Telfair Academy and continue the tour with a presentation and a guided tour of the exhibits. We will end the tour at Jere's Antiques, one of the best large antique shops ever, and if you are lucky, you will get to meet Jere and hear him talk about antiques and history.

Your tour includes the cost of entry to the museums.  Lunch is not included.
